The truth is you remain at the same level until you demonstrate that you have the capabilities to perform at the next level by delivering above expectations. That\u2019s when others, especially your boss, takes notice. That\u2019s when you get offered a promotion, a pay rise, or asked to apply for the next level position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I recently spoke with a Program Manager who started out as an Executive Assistant. Another Program Manager started out as a security guard and is now working for one of the largest tech companies in the world. They trained up and got to the next level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
